W. Timothy Gallwey was born in 1938, in San Francisco, California and graduated Harvard University. He is the author of the series of books entitled The Inner Game, giving light to a new methodology of coaching for developing the professional and personal virtuousness in various domains.
Being considered the spiritual father of coaching, he has introduced The Inner Game method to corporate companies for 30 years in order to discover better ways to face the development in a variety of domains, such as business, sports, health, education, music and so on and so forth.
Tim Gallwey began to write in the early 70s, his bestsellers including The Inner Game of Tennis, The Inner Game of Golf, The Inner Game of Music, Inner Skiing, The Inner Game of Stress and The Inner Game of Work. His most well known book The Inner Game of Tennis, was sold in over one million of copies all over the world. In the last 20 years, Gallwey has offered the expertise of his Inner game to many of the top listed companies in America, including AT&T, Coca-Cola, Apple and IBM, in order to improve the managerial performance as well as the employees` efficiency.
